Originally part of Patternworks’ Toe-Up Sock of the Month™ Club. The hybrid heel includes a combination of gusset increases on the bottom of the foot, a mini short-row heel, and slip-stitch heel back, which allows for a roomier fit than a short-row heel alone.
- Sizes: Approx. 5 3/4″ (7 3/4″) circumference, unstretched; and 8 1/2″ (11 1/2″) circumference, fully stretched
- Yarn: 290 to 350 yards sport-weight to dk-weight sock yarn
- Needles: U.S. size 2 (2.75mm) double-pointed or 32″ or longer circular for magic loop; cable needle
- Gauges: 9 1/2 sts x 10 1/2 rounds = 1″ in Confetti Rib Pattern, unstretched; 6 1/2 sts x 11 1/2 rounds = 1″ in Confetti Rib Pattern, fully stretched; and 7 sts x 11 rounds = 1″ in Stockinette stitch, unstretched
